Fufu is a popular made by mashing/pounding yam, plantain, cocoyam, rice or cassava, either singly or a combination of any of these into smooth round dough eaten with traditional African vegetable soup or stew. It is mostly eaten by the Akans, especially, the Ashantis.
I was invited by a co-worker on 1st Jan, 2012 to attend a ceremony. This food was among other food i ate. It happens to be the first food eaten in 2012.
