Looking at Life from a Different Angle; How a Rich Dad was Convinced to Believe that He was Very Poor

The hope of every caring parent is to see their families enjoying the best part of life. Oh yes! Families that will have all the money to travel to some beautiful places in the world live in mansions or attractive environments where everyone would probably wished to be like them. These are the dreams of almost every growing family. But the question is that in our quest to have all these and make our children happy in life, do they really appreciate that or happy with all that?

Well, let me share with you a story i read recently from “the law of attraction video”. One day, a father took his son on a trip to show him how poor people lived. They spent a few days on a farm with a poor family. On their return, the father asked the son, how was the trip? It was great Dad! Did you see how poor people live, asked the father. Oh yeah, said the son. The father asked, So tell me, what did you learn from the trip? The son answered: we have one dog, they have four! We have a pool in the middle of our garden; they have a creek that has no end! We have lanterns in our garden, they have the stars! Our patio reaches the front yard, they have the horizon! We have a small piece of land; they have fields that go beyond sight! We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food but they grow theirs. We have walls to protect us but have their friends to protect them. The father was speechless, and then the son added… thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are!

So friends, from this story, you would be able to identify that in our quest to make wealth, have a better life and be able to buy all the cars and clothes with the idea of making our family especially our children happy, think of it, because children look at life at different angle.

Most rich and famous people in our world today, still wished their childhood was better than they had, not in the sense of enjoying wealth, but being part of society!

… food for thought, thank you.
